THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
Thanks to your symbolic adoption of this panda, we can protect this animal and its environment even better.
Dearest colleagues,
This Christmas, we decided to embrace the spirit of giving by supporting the World Wildlife Fund (WWF).
We have chosen a specific form of support through the purchase of an adoption package! This way we support three remarkable animal species: the panda, polar bear, and tiger.
As an organization that holds sustainability in high regard, we believe this donation will have a positive impact on preserving our planet.
As a sign of this donation, this year each employee will receive an adoption package, containing a stuffed animal and information about the specie it supports.
Moreover, the box itself can be transformed into postcards, so nothing will be wasted.
Let's all make a difference together and create a more sustainable future!
A big thank you to everyone for 2023, and we look forward to continuing together in the new year!

In the booklet you can read why your help is so important and how together we can care for nature and its inhabitants.
On this page you can read the English translation of the text in the booklet.
EAT - SLEEP - REPEAT
In the densely leafy bamboo forests in the middle of the Chinese mountains, the panda is relaxing in a tree. His mouth full of bamboo plant leaves. Because his day mainly consists of eating bamboo, a lot of bamboo.
Then comes the moment when he gets tired and falls into a deep, deep sleep. When he wakes up there is only one thing he can think about: bamboo! And he puts another delicious bamboo leaf in his mouth.
AN ENDANGERED SPECIES
Bamboo bushes of one particular species all die every thirty to eighty years. In the past, when the bamboo died, pandas would move to forests with a different type of bamboo. But nowadays these forests are no longer accessible to the panda due to villages, roads and farms. In addition, poaching is a threat. Two-thirds of giant pandas live in the panda reserves established by the Chinese government. It is relatively safe in those reserves, but unfortunately poachers still occur. Although they usually hunt deer and other game, pandas also end up in their snares.

TAKE ACTION
There are fewer and fewer fish, birds, mammals, amphibians and reptiles in the world. Their habitat is rapidly being destroyed by agriculture and infrastructure. Hunting and poaching, overfishing, environmental pollution and climate change are also major threats. Pandas also suffer from this.
Fortunately, there is also good news, because we can reverse this situation within 10 years. But then everyone has to contribute in his or her own way.

BE ONE WITH NATURE
If you take good care of nature, you also take good care of yourself.
For us, nature is not opposed to humans, but we are an inseparable part of it. We love plants, animals and people in all their diversity.
We are nature!
The booklet in the WWF adoption package is made of elephant grass. That plant grows in the Netherlands and is very environmentally friendly.
